My 2006 SE660 has been a very reliable machine from the day I bought it. I now have 5,200 miles on it and all I have changed is oil, air filter, oil filter and fuel filter. That's it! Bone stock other than the BRP CDI. Yesterday I was out in the desert about back to my home. Came down a steep hill stepped on the gas and it died. Started right back up. then stepped on the gas and died again. I thought I was going to be stuck. But after a few times of pulling the choke in and out and slowly revving it up, I was on the move again and got home ok. I went ahead a ordered a weller upgrade fuel pump with hoses. Hope this fixes the problem. Last year it did this when it was over 110 outside maybe I have vapor lock happening and due to a weak fuel pump.
I also need to change out the spark plug. What spark plug is everyone running in their 660's that work well?
