Background info:
My rhino 700 (bought new in 2009) has only 130 miles as I use it for mainly plowing snow. Last year when pulling a heavy load (2000 lb. trailer up a hill in reverse) I heard a grinding noise coming from the engine area. I assumed it was the belt slipping. The noise came back the other day when I was in a similar situation. Again I thought it was the belt. But the next morning, there was a puddle of oil under the rhino. It looks like the driveshaft seal on the front of the engine is leaking. And the u-joint nut is comepletely off. I guess the grinding sound was due to the ujoint slipping on the splines.
Anyone else experience this? Any repair tips?
