Our truck didn't fair so well, cooling leak cost us a lot of time in the pits (found leak and fixed at RM240), then we had a tranny sensor reading false high temps! We were running a new Fortin 5 speed and new torque converter, so it was a major concern. Once we got the sensor changed out, rock steady at around 200 the rest of the race. We were moving along within the slower vehicle packs and got stuck in a silt bed around RM430...took 45 minutes to dig out, BUT we finish!!! 19th in class and 92nd overall. Not what we wanted, but it was a brutal course! I think it was around a 55% finish rate. Next race is Vegas to Reno!!!
