Hey guy's My name is Chris and seen that this forum looks amazing and that there is alot of info here for the rhino's. Well with that being said I just bought my first one last week. A 06 stock 660, well unfortunately today while riding it the engine is done. So with that being said, it needs a total rebuild. Little info on me, I'm a diesel tech in the Coast guard so I will be able to take this on my own and I've done some research on the items that people are putting on these to make them more durable and faster. So with that being said, I'd like some good advice on where to pick up some of these items for a decent price. I'm not looking to sink 10g's into it but I want the best bang for the buck items.
Dynatek or Black rhino CDI?
Somewhere machined/modified sheave?
Big bore 686 kit?
what good rod setup?
complete gasket kit for a complete overhaul?
Best camshaft?
Best headgasket for sealing and compression?
carb?
mid shaft gear plate?
I WILL BE KEEPING THE STOCK EXHAUST, only due to the fact the it's somewhat quiet. I dont care about making the MOST HP ever out of a rhino just want the most I can get while im in there. Thanks in advance guy's and looking to spend many years here on the forums.
