hi guys,
this is kjs from eastern sd.
i recently purchased an 2007 - 660 rhino and i am waiting for misc parts from hunterworks.com.
but as i study the forums i would like to chop the top or shorten the cage in height.
the way it presently sits with 1 size bigger tires - the floorboards are approx 15 1/2 " from finished floor height. I installed a temporary piece of masking tape to represent the finish cage height. The tape is 4 1/4 " lower in the front and 3 1/4 lower in the rear. I have been in & out of this rhino numerous times and i have not broken the tape or hit my head (i am 5'11").
but i see on the forum that some people are chopping 5 3/4" out of the front & 4" out of the back. This seems like it could be to low.
please let me know your opinions...thanks, kjs
