My rhino has been smelling hot when riding, like it was burning oil or something. After I looked into it I found it was the rear diff leaking gear lube onto the brake disc and getting thrown on the muffler. It wasn't leaking real bad, but enough it bothered me. Besides the smell, I was also feeling a slight clunk sometimes. I pulled the diff out and found the pinion nut was just sitting at the top of the threads. I looked up both seals online to find they are only 18 bucks, but think the loose nut was the culprit. I cleaned everything, put blue lock tite on the nut and put it back together. If it leaks again, it don't take long at all to drop it out, then I'll do the seals.
