Show your buddies w/ RZRs that the Rhinos can still hang.

Built as a true dual sport race car. Can be configured as a short course car, or desert car, or a dune car. Lots of spares and extra parts that I can include for the right buyer.

This is not a old clapped out old race car. This was built on a low hour rhino, with only 3 races (two of which where casual gran prixs). No races since SR1 conversion, desert only. Frame and cage in perfect condition, top bottom and sides. Barely used.

Rais tube questions

$

So I stumbled across some old threads discussing the installation of a Rais tube to give more air to the engine. I have an 08 450. I have the 2" shop vac piece I found shown in one thread. However, I am not smart enough to figure out how everyone is adapting this to fit the air box after removing the oem rubber boot piece? I found a few threads with PDF write ups and pictures, but unfortunately they must have been too old and no longer available. Could someone point me in the direction of some photos of this mod or a link to somewhere showing this?

Thanks!

New MSD map for stock exh. and cam!!!

I finally made a fuel map for the MSD with the cam we sell, the Stage II rhino cam and stock exhaust.

We are converting our old race rhino into a hunting rhino. Had to get it running again, put stock exhaust back on, then the dyno fouled up on me, then a bolt in the clutch support broke and screwed up every clutch component in there but finally today I got it done.

So we can offer the cam with stock exhaust finally.

As of right now, I only have a map for the MSD so that covers 08-11 models. Will work toward getting one done on the 12-13 models with a power commander.

All MSD's from here on out will have the following maps, stock exhaust, muzzy exhaust, muzzy with cam and cam with stock exhaust.

I pulled all the timing back out with the cam and stock exhaust due to detonation.

I have a Rhino 660 bronco dry clutch conversion kit for sale. No longer use it and went with a rotax conversion. Ive had no problems with it ! The horror stories ive heard about this are probably from improper tuning. Was installed for MPI supercharger kit on the engine and worked great.
THIS IS A CVTECH CLUTCH FOR RHINO 660 SIMILAR TO CVTECH POWERBLOC 80 and the design reduces rotational weight from stock sheave and wet clutch.

Everything is included needs a gasket for the install 350.00

What's a good lift?!

$

Sup guys I'm new here. I've recently bought myself I rhino 450 and I'm looking into lifting it. From what little research I've done before I joined this forum I'm getting a lot of good reviews in the CFM 2". But they still have an issue of rolling in the rear. But I'd like to get a little more lift than that, and from what I've heard on the 3" extreme lift they're breaking rear shocks. Anyone with some experience with these lifts can you please point me in the right direction.

Need jetting advice for 450

I'm going to be installing a CFM air box, and a CDI box. Just wondering what jet size I should go with or even what my factory jet size is. I'm in Louisiana, so elevation is very low. Also do I need to change the main or just pilot?

Dynatek CDI box opinion.

I have a rhino 450 and I've been looking at CDI boxes I've been kind of leaning towards the dynatek seeing as how they're a big name in the industry. Anyone have any experience with them on the 450 or 660? And is there one out there that performs better?

Fuel mixture screw and carb questions.

I have a 06 Yamaha Rhino 660 and I put the dynojet stage one kit in it and it runs too lean. I followed the specs for below 3000 ft. And last night I went two jet sizes up from what they recomended and now it doesn't miss at WOT but it loads up on the bottom end. Going to try the next size down tonight and see if that helps. And yes I did replace the plug and fuel filter already. Thinking about putting it back to stock but I don't remember where the fuel mixture screw was set stock. Any info would be great thanks!!!

convert your 2 seater into a 4 seater without sacrificing all the weight of a steel bed . The aluminum bed was designed for passenger, extra .120 support gussets along the bottom with .120 floor plates. The bed sides are .060, very strong, no flexing. The seat mounts are custom to the bed, mounts directly to the floor's sturdy plate along the gusset so it would not bend. Which will mount the rear seat lower. The bed has no bed fender well, also plastic fenders are not included.

Rhino sputters at 7500 ft elevation

$

Took Rhino camping at 7500 ft elevation in AZ. Rhino ran fine last season but was running super unleaded and 110 mixed 50/50. This past trip was just super unleaded. Rhino surges and sputters under a load or above 20 mph. Will do 35 if not under a load or going down hill.

Rhino has dual yosh pipes, open air box with aftermarket K&N, CDI, and clutch work. Will hit 52 mph at home at 1200 ft. Has a 155 main jet. I understand the higher octane fuel usually requires you to jet up. I am thinking the higher octane fuel was making up for the 7500 ft elevation last season? Poor rhino is screaming for good air at 7500 ft and prob needs jetted down.

Appreciate any feedback you guys have. Thinking it needs jetted down some but wanted to see if you guys thought the difference between elevations would make it surge and sputter. Has new fuel filter and just bought a high volume 4 port fuel pump to install. I need to replace the plug but like I said it runs great at home at 1200 ft elevation. Curious to see what your jetting is when going up north on the rim by woods canyon or elsewhere at high elevation.

Thanks

Rhino is a heck of a unit now... sorta

Got a 08 rhino 700, it was a lot of fun stock but was kinda a turd to say the least. Well got ahold of James at JBS. After putting in his sheeve with 18gram weights, purple spring, raptor stage one cam, looney tuned dual exhaust and lastly a MSD 4243. The wow factor went up! I'am really happy with it, would swear its not even the same engine!

My only trouble is trying to tune it. James mentioned to set the MSD on #4 with his tune, but it has a hesitation in mid range or when you working the throttle quickly, its almost the engine cant recover quick enough from accelerating to decelerating. I'm stumped, tried setting the box to #3 and #5 and both seem to work fine with no hesitation. Just waiting on a wideband gauge to tune it properly, in the meanwhile and input would be great!

Replacing seats

I have a 2008 700 Rhino, Orange. Want to replace seats and have read older post and really like the Twisted Stitch Vortex seats. I want the primary color to be orange with black accents.

I am not set on those seats if you have better suggestions. I do not like the rounded headrest on most of the highback seat. The seats have to be able to handle a 6'2" with a 42 waist.

Anyone interested please respond.
